Back to Church Sunday

Are you interested in coming back to church? On Sunday 26th September we have a special service as part of the national Back to Church campaign. Have you previous been to Victoria Hall or any other church and would like to try again?

Church is not about how you look, what you do, how you sound, or even how well you sing. Just come as you are and join us at 10am for our Family Service. During the service we will sing songs, pray, and read from the bible before Steve King shares a message with us.

After the service refreshments will be served where you will have an opportunity to get to know us better.

Summer BBQs

It looks like summer is here and fortunately those in the know are not predicting a BBQ Summer this year after last years predictions proved to be wrong. But in spite of the predictions we were able to enjoy all our normal BBQs at the end of May, June, July and August albeit with jumpers on rather than shorts and T-Shirts!

So we are planning to have our BBQ’s again this summer at the end of May, June, July and August.

They will be held near the miniature railway in Frimley Lodge Park at 3.30pm on the dates below and the normal high quality burgers and sausages are planned:-

30th May
27th June
25th July
29th August

There are normally a few games for the kids (plus adults who are up to it) while those who prefer to relax sit back and watch. The end time is flexible and depends on the weather, if it is nice we can stay until 9ish. Please bring something to sit on (rug or chair).

Whether you have been before or not please put these dates in your diary and we look forward to spending time together.

Summer BBQ’s

At last the summer is here and the BBQ season begins. At Victoria Hall we have a monthly BBQ at Frimley Lodge Park on the last Sunday of the month during the months of May, June, July and August. The afternoon is a good time of fun and friendship with Games, Time to Talk with each other, some good food and a very short talk based around the Bible.

The BBQ’s start at 3.30 with food being served between 4.30 and 5. There is no fixed finishing time it is very dependent on the weather. On days when the weather is good people tend to stay around until early evening.

We can be found on the grass area near the minature railway and it is best to park in car park 2.

This year the BBQ are on 31st May, 28th June, 26th July and 6th September (I know it is not the last Sunday of the month!)

Easter Sunday Family Service

On Saturday 4th April we will be sending out invites to Victoria Hall’s neighbours to join with us to celebrate Easter. The service will start at 10am on Easter Sunday morning.

Refreshments will be served afterwards.

During the service, there will be Easter hymns, prayer and a short message. Please come along and join with us and bring the whole family with you. Do not worry about the children during the service as there is Sunday School or Creche available.

Special Visitor from Italy/Albania

On Sunday 5th April Peter Hedley from Albania will be with us at Victoria Hall for a special day.

Peter has worked in Italy and Albania for many years in church planting and teaching. His present ministry is mainly in Albania.

He will be speaking at the family service on the feeding of the five thousand and in the evening showing slides of his work also some bible teaching

Ladies Coffee Morning

On the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10.30am there is a meeting for the ladies to spend time together over a cup of coffee and listen to a visiting speaker.

Christmas Day Family Service

On Christmas Day morning we shall be having a family service at 10.00 until 10.45.

Carol Service

On Sunday 21st December there will be our Carol Service at 6.30pm.

Following the service coffee/tea and mincemeat pies will be served.

Prayer & Praise

On the first Sunday of each month we meet at 6.30 for a meeting dedicated to Prayer and Praise. The meeting is lead by one of the members of the Church and the congregation will be encouraged to contribute and share. This is followed by refreshments and fellowship.

Evening Service

Apart from the first Sunday of each month when we have a special service dedicated to prayer and praise, the church meets for a time of praise and worship and Bible teaching. This is followed by refreshments and fellowship.

We are aware that other churches in the area may no longer have a Sunday evening service, so please feel free to come along and worship God with us and listen to a message from Him.
